One big surprise for this kit is that it includes a 7 1/4-inch circular saw. Typically these kits include a 6 1/2-inch, so the higher capacity is a nice touch. Hart includes a 24T carbide tooth blade that the brushless motor spins up to 4000 RPM for quick cutting.
This saw has the aluminum shoe and a plastic blade guard we expect to see at this level, and there’s a vacuum dust attachment that can help you keep your workspace cleaner. The really nice thing about this saw is that it’s less than 8 pounds with a 4.0Ah battery, making it easy to manage for those weekend projects
Hart’s 20V 200-lumen flashlight is a handy addition to this kit. The lens swivels 360-degrees allowing you to direct light where you need it and work hands-free. Additionally, the handle slips securely over 2x which eliminates the need to play work light Jenga when your project takes you into the attic or around bare joists.
In an effort to simplify your tool shed, Hart made their 20V batteries compatible with any power tool on their 20V platform. Hart includes two batteries to get you on the right track.
You can pick up one of these combo kits at Walmart for $298 with everything we mentioned plus a carry bag to store it all in. Buying everything separately would run you north of $475, so this really is a high-value way to jumpstart your tool game.
