Here are the video highlights of Newcastle’s second pre-season friendly against 3rd tier German side 1860 Munich.

It turned out to be an easy win for the lads as they ease their way towards the first Premier League game of the season at home against Nottingham Forest.

Joe Willock, Sean Longstaff and Bruno Guimaraes were the goalscorers, and all goals came in the second half.

That first game of the season is three weeks tomorrow, so let’s hope we can get at least one more goalscorer in the ranks well before then.

A sliding tackle to stop Jane before she scores another goal.

Great work from The Bard, I’m sure you knew I’d like that and good of SDS to take it in good spirit My humour is a bit suspect but I love a bit of a laugh and a tall storey 😆

I think we were a bit subdued today but it’s natural as it was our first friendly Bruno’s class is evident even in a meaningless friendly

Studs up on a lady is out of bounds marra

Missed the game. Had my timing wrong. I saw it was on DAZN so I will still be able to watch it. Happy with the comments about Botman.

Coming Home: true but my tackle was low and soft. Just enough to make her loose the ball. I would never hurt a lady.Although being relatively new to the blog I’m not sure if Jane is a lady?

Think we have 8 or 9 really good players. Just another couple in, a bit of luck with injuries and we could do canny. Dubravka Pope Trippier Schar Botman Burn Targett Joe Bruno Willock Maxi Wilson Maybe Migi as he’s a great fella.

Everyone else could move on for me. Harsh but true. Diaby or similar would be superb. I like Willock but wouldnt turn Paqueta away for sure. Zinchenko wud have been good next to Bruno with Joe taking the role of Yaya bombing on behind Wilson. Formation was the interesting thing today. Swap from last year’s 433 to a 4231.

Your ITK time never lasted 24 hours but at least you give it a shot

Here is mine Paqueta to sign by close of window and we will also sign Maharez from city

Yeah I think we have to take Jane’s word for it unless Lesh has some proof

Ottawageordie – ad I’ve got older I’ve found that my tackle is often lower and soft as well.

If you are infact Jib why did you block me on twitter, I only questioned your defence of dubious Mickey

Thanks for that Eddie link that man is just pure class

Iv been playing golf for 30 years but iv entered my first tournament tomorrow WorB I know your close to Longhurst get yourself in its captains day and the last one was won by a handicap of 18 and I’m off 14 so I’m gunna smash it 😆 Mind it’s unfair as it’s always won by high handicappers As the wakes say its the taking part that counts 😆 Longest drive is on 5th hole TDS is a banker Yes I said Banker

Si I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking Ottawa was talking about something else 😆

Sir Pugalot, the Dutch Bulldog

Sir Pugalot, the Dutch Bulldog

what you need is a puglet who can run ahead, find your ball in the bushes and drop it near to the hole

I never would question you on the beer barrels shot It’s something that could happen It’s the 349y that I struggle with 😆

Pugs, Botmans left foot is like a nine iron. Pure class shot onto the green.

Sir Pugalot, the Dutch Bulldog

its tuff, but brings your handicap down

What’s happening in the Tour de France, has anyone hit 180?

I still believe you should be looking to shift around the Morpeth area you’d love the 2 courses on Longhurst and your allowed to bring humans

Alnmouth is the place to be or Warkworth

Sir Pugalot, the Dutch Bulldog

CH you are conflating me with TDS He can drive 350, me? 250 max. My shot at strawberry Hill was a 7 iron 149 yards, thinned it and got so lucky it was unbelievable, total lack of skill, that ball must have hit 5 kegs before bouncing out. total fluke.

Won’t be signing mahrez , he’s signed a contract extension today!

I’d give up the ITK malarkey if I was you 😉

Yeah great scenery but for golf there’s no beating Longhurst and iv played most courses in Northumberland

Sir Pugalot, the Dutch Bulldog

I have looked around Morpeth in last few months. I know it well when I was a youngster

Jeez I lasted less than Adamn

No I’m not mixing you up it was just banta I know you tell the truth and TDS tells,,,well,,,

So new ceo in place, just need 3 attacking players and we’re sorted

350 yards! How much of that is a very steep downhill slope? ASM needs a permanent St Johns Ambulance person, running up and down the wing to bandage him up each time he takes to the turf. Even his team mates are laughing at the idiot.

If you could txt me prior to my post to stop me looking a cnut it would be appreciated While your there txt Mund 😆

Sir Pugalot, the Dutch Bulldog

did live just outside Alnmouth for a couple of years. a good shout

It’s spelled Longhirst but then all you locals knew that.

Sir Pugalot, the Dutch Bulldog

I did play with a guy who hit the ball so far you just went “what” and he was slim built and shortish 5.9ish So TDS with his long levers is totally believable. In my opinion

Who Do You Think Will Be Newcastle's First Choice Goalkeeper Next Season?

I have continued over the last two years to have quarterly checkups on my stage 4 prostate cancer. The treatment (hormone injections every 3 months plus Xtandi medication daily) has managed to slow the spread of the cancer.

I am just so pleased that we have now been taken over by rich and ambitious owners and Eddie Howe is now the head coach.

It is as it is.

My cancer was first diagnosed in April, 2011 and it became stage four in late December, 2016

That's when it spread through the bones to several areas of the body.

My treatment has also included radiation therapy and chemotherapy.

I remain in awe of the kind and effective treatment I have received from the Doctors and Nurses.

While stage four prostate cancer is terminal, I hope to be around for a while yet.

Let's also hope Newcastle can shock everybody this coming season with maybe even a top six finish!

The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:

It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.
